It is common to make the Bible the pivot point in discussing the work of the Holy Spirit. I think this frames the discussion in a false way given that we are dependent on the Spirit for even understanding Scripture as Scripture. The Spirit isn’t one of the points on the Wesleyan quadrilateral (the four are: Scripture, reason, tradition, and experience). The Spirit speaks to us through each of them. Pitting the Bible against or as a limit to the Spirit works under the false premise that we can read the Bible on our own and have any inkling of the revelation of God apart from the gifting and empowering of the Spirit.

Servant leadership is not just a means to an end, not just a strategy to try because it might work better in a postmodern world. Servant leadership is the only mode of authority compatible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All other forms of power have been condemned (John 16.11).
